Tip Me Tuesday: Patterned Paper To The Rescue
Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope your month of June is going well, and that the week is off to an awesome start. I love that the sun is peeking out much earlier in the morning, and setting well after 8pm here in our area. This time of year I want to create nothing but sunshine-y and bright projects, but sometimes, my skills and supplies don't always comply.
Take for example, this throwback image called Snuddle Anya who was styled by my friend and longtime TGF'er (hey Alice!):

I wanted to create a card with sunshine rays beaming up from behind her, but my yellow Copics said absolutely not. After trying a few times to get the gradation right (okay, more like multiple times), I almost gave up on my concept.
And then it hit me...I have scraps that I knew would provide me some closure! Patterned Paper came to the rescue as this small piece was just enough to fill a card front. I put Anya and her little bunny friend (from Happy Days) together to start the morning off with her cup of coffee and rabbit slippers.
Great reminder for crafters who get stuck like me: When all else fails, use a bold patterned piece of paper to finish up your card. :)
Have a wonderful day everyone, thank you for coming by TMT!
