Hi everyone!

Carisa here with you today and I couldn’t wait to ink up our latest cutie Buddy Ian again from the March release. I decided clean and simple is an easy go to when creating masculine cards so that’s what I went with today. I stamped Buddy Ian on kraft cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers all in the W family (W1, W3, W5, W7, W9) to create a vintage monochromatic look. Then I gave him some highlights (went a little overboard, I’ll admit) with a white gel pen and shaded around him with C2, C4 and some ground with E42, E4 and E47. Pretty simple. Then I wanted to add something but I wasn’t sure what so while I was thinking I rounded one corner of the card and fussed with some twine but in the end I wanted a true one layer card, so I went with some ink splatters! I love how this card turned out and hope you do, too!

Here is a close up of the coloring. I forgot to mention I did add a bit of colored pencil to his face just to deepen the shadows a bit but not much because I was afraid to mess him up!!! However, I do love how it warmed up his skin just a bit.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
